In southern and central Finland, the weather will continue to be sunny and rainless, with temperatures likely to rise above 30 degrees in some areas. The average temperature will be between 24 and 29 degrees.
There may be occasional showers in the afternoon in the central and southern parts of the country and there may be local cooling due to the heat.
In the north, conditions are more variable: there will be clouds and showers, with more widespread showers in the afternoon, especially in Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu.
