Mathematics enthusiasts from more than 10 primary and secondary schools across the country gathered in Suva yesterday to compete in the 2024 Fiji Mathematics Association (FMA) National Finals.
FMA president Vinod Sharan said the annual competition was aimed at identifying the best mathematical talent in Fiji and this year at least 90 teams participated.
“This competition tests students’ knowledge, speed and accuracy,” he said.
The national finals are hosted by FMA and supported by the Ministry of Education.
