A man who forced a bather out of his bathroom and stabbed him has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
The Attorney General’s Office charged the defendant, Jinye Ahmed Nabil, with assault with a sharp object.
He is accused of forcibly taking a man named Ahmed Wishham out of the bathroom while he was taking a shower on August 16, 2023, and stabbing him in the forehead and right shoulder with a knife.
A secret witness submitted by the prosecution denied Nabil’s allegations, saying he saw Nabil and two others enter the house and leave after threatening to fight. The defendant also submitted CCTV footage of the victim’s house.
As a result, Ahmed Nabil was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Criminal Court yesterday.
