Alhaji Mohammed Kasaja, the father of late Isma Olax Ichuli, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Joseph Tamale Mirundi, praising Mirundi’s extraordinary personality.
“Tamale Milundi was a peaceful, sweet, humble and brave man. We became like brothers.” Kasaja said, recalling the friendship that developed between them.
On May 6, 2023, a year has passed since the tragic shooting death of Isma Olaxess, the son of Hajji Muhammad Kasajja.
Unknown assailants ambushed Kianja near his home, leaving the community in shock and mourning. Isma was buried in Katwe-Nkokonjeru, Buikwe County.
The nation is still mourning the death of former presidential press secretary and respected current affairs analyst, Joseph Tamale Mirundi.
Mirundi died on Tuesday evening from lung complications at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kisubi, where he had been receiving treatment for months.
His body has been taken to his residence in Zana for an evening vigil.
Mirundi’s final resting place will be his ancestral house in Kalagala village in Kalisizo, Kiotla District.
He will be buried on Sunday, August 18, 2024, when family, friends and the nation will come together to bid farewell to a man who will be remembered for his contributions and unwavering spirit.
