Farouk Bouasker’s availability extended by another year
Farouk Bouasker, chairman of the Independent High Electoral Authority (Isie), is expected to remain in office for at least another year.
A decree published by the Ministry of Justice in the Official Gazette on July 12, 2024, extended the release of Second Class Magistrate Farouk Bouasker by one year from August 10, 2024.
On May 9, 2022, Farouk Bouasker was appointed President of Isie by presidential decree.
