Following the minutes recorded by the Finance Office on January 10, 2023, the Board of Directors of Societe Generale (MG), meeting on December 13, 2022, decided to appoint the company’s new General Manager, Mr. Fahd Chaouch, to replace Hedi Baccour for a three-year term starting from December 14, 2022, according to a press release issued today by the Committee on Financial Markets (CMF).
Mr. Fahd Chaouch holds an MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal and has held various assignments within the BAYAHI Group over the past 16 years, namely:
– 2022: Sales Director, responsible for Business Development and IT, later appointed Deputy General Manager
– 2016: Executive Director of Performance, responsible for managing 7 departments (Digital Transformation, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Indirect Procurement, Management Control and Security)
– 2013: Group Central Director
– 2009: Director of Management Control
– 2008: Assistant to the Director of Operations
– 2006: Served as Area Manager for 5 stores, responsible for business development.
