Pedro Rivero has lived the history of Santa Cruz and Bolivia, through every transformation of society and information technology. His career is marked by humility, starting as a carnilita and ending up as director of one of the most influential media organizations in Bolivia, which reflects his dedication to his profession and his constant struggle for the truth.

The director did not receive academic training in journalism, but rather trained in practice, working side by side with the best, and his legacy includes not only his own career but also the training of new generations of journalists. The role played by institutions such as the National Press Institute in defending free speech is a reminder that journalism must be a bulwark of democracy, independent and unyielding to power.
