Export situation improved in June
CBS also publishes monthly updates on the export situation in the Export Radar. These situations depend mainly on developments in the main sales markets for domestic exports and on the competitive position of the Netherlands. Although the radar indicators have a strong correlation with export activity, an improvement in the situation does not necessarily mean faster export growth.
according to CBS Export Radar In June, the export situation improved compared with April, mainly due to the smaller adverse impact of the year-on-year change in the real exchange rate and the smaller year-on-year contraction in German industrial production.
