The Army and the General Staff of the Armed Forces issued an executive order ending the invocation of reserve officers, noncommissioned officers, and reserve personnel as follows:
1 – The call-up of reserve officers (invited personnel) will cease from 1 September 2024 AD for all persons who have completed one year or more of actual reserve service on or before 31 August 2024 AD.
2- The retention and call-up of officers and reservists (retained and called-up recruits) will terminate on 1 September 2024 A.D. for any person who has completed five and a half years or more of active reserve service until 8/20 A.D. 31/2024 inclusive.
3- The reservation and call-up of all officers and reservists (retained and invited recruits) who have reached the age of 38 and completed two years or more of actual reserve service will be terminated from September 1, 2024 AD until August 31, 2024 AD (inclusive), and active military personnel who have reached the age of 38 and completed two years of actual reserve service will then be retired.
