Addis Ababa, July 15, 2024 (Address) Ethiopia and Russia agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Ethiopian Foreign Minister Ambassador Taiatske-Selassie received the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov, in his office today.
Officials from both governments held consultations on mechanisms to strengthen bilateral political and economic relations, as well as regional and continental peace and security issues.
During the discussions, both sides stressed the need to deepen cooperation within the BRICS framework.
Furthermore, Ambassador Tayeh stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in the areas of technology transfer and capacity building, according to the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
