Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has replaced two ministers.
It is reported that the relevant decree of the head of state has been published in the official newspaper Resmi Gazette.
According to the document, Kemal Memişoğlu was appointed as the country’s Minister of Health, replacing Fahrettin Koca. Turkey’s Minister of Environment and Urban Development, Mehmet Özaseki, was replaced by Murat Kurum, who served in the position from 2018 to 2023.
It is worth noting that Koca and Ozaszeki had earlier submitted their resignations to the president. Ozaszeki justified his decision by citing health issues.
