The New Zealand company will begin a trial with New Zealand Post next month.
Australia Post will use Ubco EV scooters on routes that its existing electric fleet can’t reach.
Mount Maunganui-based electric vehicle manufacturer Ubco has struck a deal with Australia Post to supply it with 175 all-electric motorcycles for mail delivery.
“We’ve given the company a rallying cry to prove we can do the fleet business,” said Oliver Hutaff, Ubco’s chief executive.
