A 75-year-old man in Suriname died today on his ranch after he was allegedly attacked by one of his cows.
In the afternoon, Mr. TA was working with his cattle on a property owned by Indira Gandhiweg, across the street from 82 Trading in Lelydorp.
Surinamese police received a report of an injured man found on the grass at around 2:30 p.m. When we arrived on the scene, we did find a man with a large laceration on the back of his knee.
An ambulance was called and upon arrival the staff discovered that the elderly man had no signs of life.
It is suspected that he was attacked by a cow or bull and suffered severe leg injuries. He may have bled to death on the spot.
The doctor officially diagnosed the death and the body was sent to the morgue.
