Antonio Ecarri, the presidential candidate of the LAPIZ party, announced on his social media accounts X His intention to close Seniat is linked to the fact that “Nicolas Maduro’s brigades close down and persecute Venezuelan entrepreneurs and businessmen.”
The presidential candidate believes that Senyat has become “an institution with too much finance and bureaucracy that prevents Venezuelans from developing their own businesses.”
Ekari believes that the current fiscal policy has suppressed entrepreneurship, slowed economic growth and harmed small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who are struggling to survive in an unfavorable environment.
As a solution, Ekari proposed the creation of a new national tax authority, an entity that would, in his words, promote “economic development and progress based on the ability of Venezuelans to contribute.”
The politician assured that the new institutions will operate according to the principles of impartiality and legality, avoiding any political influence. “They will not have to march or chant slogans in support of my government coalition; instead, in strict compliance with the law, they will be an institution independent of any electoral or partisan interests.”
🚨 Are you still wondering why we are shutting down Seniat?
