Cabinet has approved a second redeployment of funds within the approved budget for 2023-2024 to regularise overspending in the Ministry of Education and the Fiji Police Force.
A total of FJD 7,936,665.94 (VIP) will be redeployed from the approved 2023-2024 budget to regularise the overspending in both agencies.
The first redeployment was approved in July this year to meet additional expenditure requirements of FJD 105,185,000.00 (VIP) across various agencies and projects.
The funds allocation work was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Management Law.
