The Education Specialist reports to the Global Head of Education Technology and will support the development of education planning, policy, advocacy and research initiatives globally. You will lead the development of areas of Education in Emergencies (EiE) technology that support learning outcomes, while working closely with a diverse team of program specialists in the Program Development and Quality teams to ensure program quality.
You will develop and deepen education program thinking and design, including resource and technical guidance; provide ongoing support to national teams implementing education programs to improve program effectiveness; and build capacity for education programs and approaches. You will provide direct support to national education experts implementing education programs in development contexts and protracted crisis settings.
Travel to RTP countries is expected to account for 25% of the total time.
