The show, which aired on KT Radio and other Kigali Today media outlets, featured guests discussing the day’s theme of “Developing Technology and Strengthening Cooperation in Science and Education”.

This paper explores how the introduction of technology in mathematics, science, technology and mathematics, STEM education, has transformed the learning experience of students in Rwanda.

They also noted that government programs such as the Rwanda Coding Academy and Smart Classrooms address issues in expanding and improving the quality of mathematics, science, technology and math (STEM) education.

They also explored the role of collaboration with education experts in supporting the future of STEM education in Rwanda, and the important skills and competencies that Rwandan students gain through their STEM learning experiences.

The EdTech Monday discussion also showcased how the Rwandan education sector is using technology to support the content and requirements of STEM education.


This presentation also highlights how collaboration among education professionals can help bridge the gap between Mathematics, Science, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) education, labour market demands and key barriers to further learning and use of STEM in Rwanda.

The panelists in this discussion also explored the most important priorities in continuing and evaluating the role of STEM education and working with Rwandan experts.
