Eddy Yawe has revealed his family’s long-term wealth; he revealed that their prosperity came from assets held by his family for generations.
When asked about the source of his family’s wealth, Yaweh denied that their success was extraordinary.
You are intimidated too easily. There are a lot of rich people in the world, but we will do our best.
Yawe went on to share their more personal history, revealing that their father, Jackson Wellington Ssentamu, had a large amount of assets which he lost during the war when he became a rebel.
Our father was a rebel and we followed in his footsteps, hoping to gain a lot after the war, but we didn’t. We lost many of our assets, including cattle.
The Sentamu family’s influence extends beyond their immediate family. Yawe noted that many of their relatives own luxurious properties in Gumba.
The Ssentamu siblings, including Chairman Nyanzi, Mikie Wine, Banjo Man and their sister Irene Kayembe, are not shy about displaying their wealth.
