To help Ukraine defend against Russia, international partners will soon deliver F-16s to the country, with the Netherlands, Denmark and the United States playing a leading role in the alliance.

As commander, Stallman co-leads the organization. The alliance is not only responsible for supplying F-16s to Ukraine, but also involved in maintenance, pilot and support personnel training, and ammunition financing. All of this is intended to develop the Ukrainian Air Force into a modern air force based on the Western model in the long run.

The Netherlands will provide a total of 24 F-16s, including spare parts, weapons and airfield equipment. Aircraft manufacturer Lockheed Martin also provides flight training for the Dutch aircraft at the European F-16 Training Center (EFTC) in Romania. The Air Force provides training for Dutch support personnel.

Stallman himself is an experienced fighter pilot. He has more than 2,500 hours in the F-16. He also has extensive administrative experience.
