Dubai Lynx, the leading platform for creative excellence and effectiveness in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced its 2024 programme to promote emerging talent in the region. Student Competition

Designed for university students (aged 18-25) studying advertising and marketing, student competitions provide students with the opportunity to apply practical skills, gain industry experience and be recognized for their creative work. These competitions also offer networking opportunities, allowing students to connect with industry professionals and receive comprehensive support to launch their careers.

Meanwhile, the Student Hackathon, organised in partnership with Dubai Media City, provides a platform for students to showcase their skills, learn from mentors and gain industry experience by responding to real client briefs. Participants are challenged to develop a creative campaign or solution within 24 hours, with the winning team being celebrated at the prestigious Dubai Lynx Awards ceremony on March 6.


Young Lynx Academy and Competitions

Following the success of its first year in 2023, the Young Lynx Academy will return for a second year with the support of Publicis Groupe ME. Taking place from 3-5 March 2024, just ahead of the Dubai Lynx Festival on 5 March, the Academy aims to support ambitious young talent aged 30 or under working in the creative communications sector. The Academy offers free mentoring opportunities, delivering inspiring content in key sessions and workshops hosted by industry giants. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to take part in a 24-hour hackathon based on a charity brief. The competition provides a fantastic opportunity for students to write a brief in real time and showcase their creative talents to industry experts. Applications for the Academy are now open and will close on 12 February.
