Yesterday, a mixed police team in Suriname arrested a 33-year-old man with 1,790 ecstasy pills in his possession.
Surinamese police received information that the suspect was selling XTC at a location in Leysweg.
After analyzing the information, a team consisting of the Director of Operations of the KPS (DOKPS) and a department of Stootgroep Oost decided to arrest DR on suspicion of violating the Narcotic Drugs Act (WVM).
These items were found in his possession in addition to the above-mentioned quantity of pills, a scale, a quantity of SRD money and a car.
