The accident of a young tractor driver (19 years old) marked the traditional competition of factory and homemade tractors in Zebnica, Pilsen Region. On Saturday, a tractor overturned on the track with the girl on board, and the organizers had to rescue her from the accident. Already in its 21st year, the competition attracted thousands of spectators to the village of 180 inhabitants to witness this year’s spectacular show.
During a race on machines with up to 25 horsepower, a young competitor drove the front wheel into a slope and the machine flipped over on her! “We treated the woman and then took her to the University Hospital in Pilsen-Lohotin for emergency admission, where she suffered minor injuries and abrasions,” said rescue spokesman Lukáš Uherek.
