Home Instead, Ireland’s leading home care provider, is hosting a recruitment week next week (2nd to 6th September).

Donegal House We are preparing for Recruitment Week and will host the first event this year Friday 30day August at SuperValu Killybegs.

Home Instead is hosting more than 80 events across the country as it aims to expand its team of professional CAREGivers by 1,000, reinforcing its commitment to providing exceptional home care services for those who want to age in place but require assistance.

As part of Home Instead Recruitment Week, the Home Instead Donegal team will be discussing exciting career opportunities at various locations across Donegal.

This Friday, 30day August, SuperValu Killybegs 10am to 2pm, or Tuesday 3 Augustroad Find out about their work and how you can be part of something meaningful at Costcutter Carndonagh in September from 11am to 2pm.

The team will also travel to SuperValu Dungloe on Wednesday 4day In September, there will be a recruitment day at the Home Instead office in Letterkenny from 11am to 2pm, with a recruitment day on the same day from 9am to 4pm.

Thursday, 5day In September, visit the team at SuperValu Bundoran from 10am to 2pm.

This year Home Instead will be launching a fun new event: a virtual dementia tour, which will take place in Letterkenny on Friday 6day September.

This is a unique immersive training course that puts people in the shoes of someone living with dementia. Using specially designed equipment, participants can see, feel and hear what life is like for someone with dementia, which reduces their physical and sensory abilities.

The tour is conducted via a state-of-the-art mobile simulator, widely known as the Dementia Bus, where participants spend a short period of time experiencing the world as someone with dementia would.

This tour is backed by scientific and medical evidence, proving there is no better way to understand life with dementia.
