This information was confirmed by the artist himself in a conversation with Raúl de Molina about “El Gordo”, in “El Gordo Y la Flaca”.
This morning, the singer announced that his cancer treatment was successful and he is now entering recovery.
“I woke up today cancer free and I am grateful. Thank you for your well wishes, prayers and thousands of messages. My surgery was a complete success and now I have to recover,” Don Omar wrote on his social networks.

Yesterday, Don Omar surprised his fans by publishing a post announcing that he is undergoing treatment for cancer.
“Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer. Good intentions will be met with good responses. Goodbye. #fuckcancer”, the urban advocate wrote in a post on the social network Instagram.
Don Omar is returning to the United States. It announced through its platform that it will hold new dates in several cities starting in August and September. These include Oakland and Sacramento, California. Cities such as Seattle, Washington, Portland, Oregon, Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, California. The tour will continue through the eastern United States until it ends at Belmont Park in New York.
