As usual, the Croatian JRE Restaurant Association will this year organize its largest and most important event, called “Talent and Passion”, which will take place on Saturday, October 5. That is, once a year, all restaurants and members of the JRE-Croatia Association will gather in one place to share their passion and love for cooking.
The entire event is organized by the association and 15 restaurants of the JRE-HR Association will participate together with their members-holders as well as chefs, sommeliers and their teams.
This year the event will be held at Grad Grobnik, the Frankopan castle representing cultural and historical heritage, where Croatian members of the JRE community will showcase their culinary skills. A combination of culture, tradition, history and gastronomy, the event will start at 3pm and last until 11pm, where visitors will be able to taste snacks prepared by JRE chefs as well as wine and cocktails, as well as music and cultural programs, all in a location closed to the public.

The association’s mission is also its motto: Passion Never Stops. If you’re wondering what JRE means, the J stands for “Combining Innovation and Imagination”, the R stands for “Respect for Sources and Sustainability”, and the E stands for “Evoke Emotions and Inspiration”.
The 8th edition of the event “Talent and Passion” begins at 3pm in the Nine City Law Promenade, where you will learn about the location, history and traditions of the venue where the event is held under the guidance of experts. Following the path, we follow the promenade to Grobnik Castle, where the official opening ceremony of the event will take place.
Walk through and explore the rooms of the castle, you will find something interesting in each room, JRE restaurant prepares snacks based on basic local ingredients, presented in a modern interpretation of local plates. Each room has its own story, cuisine and restaurant, you can also taste wines from renowned winemakers who are partners of JRE-Croatia Association.
The tour of Kaštela lasts about 2 hours – from 17:00 to 19:00 – after which all guests will go to the main open atrium of Kaštela Grobnik, where they will be welcomed by the JRE-HR Association and all partners. In addition, enjoy the announced musical program.
Partners will have their own product display points and taste wines, cocktails and various delicacies from all over Croatia, and JRE chefs will also prepare a dessert table and desserts.
JRE-HR announced that the price per person is 250 euros and the number of occupants is limited to one hundred people.
