Qatar Airways Group subsidiary Discover Qatar has announced the launch of its exclusive ‘Discover Doha by Air’ tour flights. These unique tours will provide a great opportunity to explore the stunning sights and attractions of the city of Doha by private jet, helping to enhance the luxury travel and tourism experience.
The company said the flights are designed to offer passengers the opportunity to travel on a unique aircraft and experience an unparalleled combination of adventure, luxury and exploration.
In order to provide a service designed to meet the wishes of its customers, Discover Qatar will organize air tours on private air-conditioned aircraft with a maximum capacity of 8 passengers to ensure complete privacy and comfort. The Cessna 208 Caravan private jet is also designed with large windows, perfect for a bird’s eye view, and the onboard speakers allow customers to hear the captain’s comments on the plane very clearly.

The 45-minute flight departs from Doha International Airport’s Premium Terminal and takes valued passengers to visit Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire District and Education City before heading to Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium and the mangrove island of Al Dhakhira. The journey will continue to the Pearl Islands, Al Safria Island, Katara Cultural District and West Bay. The flight will fly over the Corniche area, Qatar National Museum, Qatar Islamic Museum and 974 Stadium before returning to Doha International Airport.
Discover Qatar said the tourist flights will begin on June 27, 2024, and will run every Thursday to Monday. Customers can book a morning or evening flight by visiting discoverqata.qa/air and quoting the travel price of QAR 710 per person, with children under two years old travelling free. Guests can also upgrade their booking by adding the Discover Qatar service to provide transportation to and from Doha International Airport.
The tours are also available for passengers passing through Hamad International Airport who have a waiting time of more than six hours between their flights. The tour costs QR 850 per person and includes private round-trip transportation between Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport’s Premium Passenger Terminal.
