After the first round of voting, city minister Erling Sande is the top candidate for the Sogn og Fjordane Centre Party in next year’s general election.

Sander from Gloppen in Westerland county came first on the Centre Party’s parliamentary list in the first round of elections in Sogn og Fjord. She was followed by Emma Berge Ness from Senterungdommen, while parliamentary deputy Aleksander Øren Heen came third.

The party wrote in a press release that the nominating committee aims to have the list proposal ready before Christmas and then adopted at the nomination meeting on March 1, 2025.

Erling Sande was appointed Minister of Cities and Regions in October 2023. He was a parliamentary representative for the Sogn og Fjordane region from 2005 to 2013, when he met with Liv Signe Navarsete, who was minister. In the 2021 general election, he was elected on his own.
