On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Engineer Walid bin Abdulkarim Al-Khoulaiji, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, who today participated in a high-level meeting between King Faisal Center for Studies and Islamic Research, he delivered a speech at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and the Nizami-Janwi International Center in the city of Riyadh, in which he mentioned the most prominent global challenges, accelerated political and economic transformations, and growing geopolitical conflicts. The world is witnessing this, explaining that this is happening against the backdrop of an escalating series of common challenges and new developments, such as climate change, cybersecurity, and technological acceleration in the field of artificial BroadCast Unitedligence, which is reflected among countries and peoples. He said the humanitarian disaster and unprecedented human suffering in the Gaza Strip were due to the inability of the international community and its existing institutions to fulfil their responsibilities to maintain international peace and security, stressing that no party would win through more aggression. The only way out was to immediately stop the aggression, ensure full access to humanitarian and relief assistance, and embark on the path of a just and comprehensive peace through a two-State solution.

He reiterated the Kingdom’s position on the importance of strengthening understanding and cooperation to find common solutions to geopolitical and economic crises, and constantly called for respect for different cultures, values ​​and religious backgrounds among peoples and cultures.

The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that since launching the ambitious Vision 2030, the Kingdom has been seeking to develop a comprehensive framework to address various economic and social challenges at the regional level and to promote joint regional and international action to contribute to tangible progress towards a more secure, sustainable and prosperous future.
