Baku, Azerbaijan. August 30. They can cost anywhere from $20,000 to $1 million.
According to Trend, more and more American citizens are starting to buy private bunkers to prepare for a major armed conflict, a new epidemic or a nuclear disaster.
Fox News reported the news and interviewed Ron Hubbard, director of the bunker manufacturer Atlas Survival Shelters.
“Business is booming. We build bunkers all over the place, ranging from $1 million to $20,000. Most bunkers cost about $500,000 because our customers are wealthy,” he said, noting that nearly half of Americans are worried about civil war.
Hubbard added that he sells at least one bunker a day. “The atmosphere inside is reminiscent of home. That’s why I work with high-end clients. They understand that they don’t want to be trapped in a metal box, they want some kind of elite bomb shelter,” he explained.
