After a welcoming ceremony at the Defense Ministry headquarters, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikian and Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani held a face-to-face meeting, followed by a meeting with the expanded delegation.
During the meeting, both sides highly appreciated the current level of cooperation and discussed relevant issues of Armenia-Georgia cooperation in the sphere of defense and regional security.
The two sides also presented details of ongoing reforms in the armed forces of both countries.
At the end of the talks, the two defense ministers signed the Cooperation Plan between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Defense of Georgia for 2024.
