Sources said that last Tuesday, a dam explosion and landslide occurred in Malhan district of Mawit province, resulting in the erosion and demolition of 38 houses spread across several remote areas in the district.

The flood also caused serious damage to citizens’ property, washed away 4 commercial stores and 8 cars, and caused many people to fall due to road collapse, and destroyed a large area of ​​agricultural terraces in some areas.

The floods left “more than 150 families displaced, their houses washed away and destroyed, and they abandoned them due to their dangerous location in the valley, prone to flooding, while 90% of the roads were cut off.”
