Damietta Port exported 35,000 tons of general cargo in 24 hours – Egypt News

The Damietta Port Authority’s media center issued a statement saying that in the past 24 hours, the port received 10 ships and left 11 ships, bringing the total number of ships in the port to 35. The export movement of general cargo reached 35,000 tons and 561 tons, including 10,000 tons and 930 tons of urea, 2,323 tons of sand, 12,495 tons of clinker and 9,813 tons of general cargo.

Incoming movement of general goods

Inbound traffic also reached Department Store 97,723 tons, including 32,254 tons of wheat, 53,800 tons of corn, 3,469 tons of iron, 3,250 tons of plywood, 3,638 tons of general cargo, and 4,129 cattle (fattening calves), with a total weight of 1,313 tons.

Granary Balance

The balance of wheat in the port food and public sector grain silos reached 94.67 tonnes, and the balance in the warehouses reached 94.67 tonnes. Private sector Two trains with a total load of 2,443 tonnes of wheat departed for Shubra and Tanta silos, while the number of trucks entering and leaving reached 5,758.
