Guam Fire Department spokesman Lt. Nick Garrido said seven people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Marine Corps Drive and Y SengSong Road in Dededo Wednesday afternoon. GFD units responded to the scene at 1:49 p.m. “Upon arrival, units classified the incident as minor injuries,” Garrido said. “A total of seven people were injured in this motor vehicle crash, all of whom were transported to Guam Memorial Hospital and Guam Regional Medical City.” Southbound traffic was temporarily restricted to the inside lane as GFD personnel immediately provided assistance to the accident victims. Photos of the crash show that the front windshield and front fender of a dark-colored vehicle were smashed. The front hood of another dark-colored vehicle behind it was also smashed.
