The Guam Police Department said late Tuesday that it was experiencing issues with phone line connectivity at its South Precinct. “Our department has reached out to the local vendor, the Guam Telephone Authority (GTA), to evaluate and resolve the issue. As of now, there is no estimated time for resolution,” the GPD said in a statement. For emergencies, the GPD continues to advise the community to call 911. GPD said another number to contact South Precinct officers for police-related inquiries or assistance is to contact the Police Dispatch Division at (671) 475-8615 to 8617. GPD added that with radio capabilities and communications, dispatchers were able to send officers to community members in the South Precinct.
