The Dededo Police Station was cleared for another suspected fentanyl scare on Tuesday. This is the second such incident that Guam Police have encountered in the past week. At approximately 2 p.m., the Guam Police Department learned that the Dededo Police Station had evacuated a suspect after police found drugs on a detained suspect. Police said precautionary safety measures were taken after a “compromising substance” was found. By 4 p.m., the substance tested negative for fentanyl. A week ago, an arrestee overdosed on fentanyl while in custody at the Tumon Police Station. She was taken to the hospital for custodial care.
