New Zealand has reported 1,761 new cases of Covid-19 in the week to Sunday, with 16 more people dying from the virus.
Of the new cases, 1,069 were reinfections.
A total of 134 people are hospitalized, none of whom are in intensive care.
The highest number of new cases was in Canterbury, followed by Waitemata, Manukau and Waikato.
The number of cases is lower than the number reported in Te Whatu Ora last week. 2,414 new cases and 22 new deaths Blame it on the virus.
