A couple from Suriname received an unpleasant surprise when they returned home on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, August 21. Their home in Magentaweg appeared to be completely destroyed.
The burglary took place when the couple left their home on Tuesday afternoon. When they returned in the evening, they found that the perpetrators had taken 60,000 Surinamese dollars, 1,000 euros and 1,000 US dollars.
Besides money, gold rings, watches, laptops, tablets and perfumes of famous brands were also stolen.
The thief may have entered the house through a window. The police are investigating the case but still have no trace of the murderer.
