Tindastall’s team played against Aalborg today, but it was a top-level match in the Fourth Division. One point was enough, but the game went well, as the only goal of the game was scored by our great coach Dominic Furness, and it was scored in the minute – 43 minutes after the match ended, the chairmen lifted the trophy for the Fourth Division victory and celebrated with the team’s supporters. Congratulations to Tindastall!
Both teams put in strong performances in the second round of the 4th division, but no team has done better than Stólun, who have now won eight games in a row with one game left, against KÁ next weekend in Ásvölum in Hafnarfjörður.
This game is very important for Aalborg, so it is a difficult game. Aalborg and Imir are trying to follow the team from Tindastor to advance to the division, and today Aalborg’s loss was taken advantage of by the Kopavog division team, who defeated KFS in Eyo and jumped to the second place. So there will be tension in the last round; which team gets the second place and which team goes down as RB.
