After two days of strike action last week, the union executed a strike notice on Wednesday, May 29. Union members and the community met for nearly 2 hours and negotiations began, but the Vice President had other obligations and union members agreed to continue these negotiations next week. The community hotel should reopen on Monday, June 3, so that the Citizenship Service can operate.
