The Government of The Gambia, in partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat, has launched a series of digital platforms aimed at strengthening the country’s trade, tourism and investment sectors. Unveiled at a recent event in Bijilo, the initiative includes The Gambia e-marketplace platform, Gamlumo, a Gambia export promotional video and a tourism destination video. The digital tools are part of The Gambia National Export Strategy (2021-2025) and are aimed at increasing the country’s competitiveness in global markets. Developed with technical assistance from the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Trade and Competitiveness team, the project highlights collaborative efforts to drive Gambia’s economic growth and international visibility through digital transformation.
