Julia Charlton, Chairperson of the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce, held productive discussions with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce to explore new avenues for collaboration. The meeting in Sri Lanka highlighted good opportunities for joint action in webinars and events aimed at promoting cross-border business growth and innovation.
The talks revolved around the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalise these collaborations, which will focus on joint webinars, conferences and trade missions. Both parties are optimistic that these initiatives will not only lead to business growth, but also deepen cultural understanding and strengthen diplomatic relations. Looking ahead, Julia Charlton and CEO Buwanekabahu Perera are optimistic about the prospects of their collaboration and envision a positive exchange of ideas and resources that will benefit businesses in both the Commonwealth and Sri Lanka.
