Xinhua News Agency cited data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers as saying that in the first six months of this year, China’s new energy vehicle production and sales continued to maintain rapid growth, up 30% year-on-year. In the first half of this year, the output of new energy vehicles was about 4.93 million units, up 30.1% year-on-year, and its share in the domestic market has steadily increased.
Data shows that the sales volume of new energy vehicles reached 4.94 million, an increase of 32% over the previous year. As of the end of June last year, my country’s new energy vehicle market share reached 35.2%.
In June alone, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1 million and 1.05 million respectively, up 28.1% and 30.1% year-on-year.
Data shows that from January to June, about 605,000 new energy vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%.
