CEC completes compilation and finalization of permanent voters list

Today, the Central Election Commission held a meeting to learn about the printing and preservation of the voter list.

According to Day.Az, the meeting discussed the re-compilation, approval and publication of the 2024 permanent voters list.

Members of the Central Committee particularly noted that the inventory determination process and the work done using the possibilities of information and communication technologies had been further improved and efficiency had been enhanced.

The meeting gave a detailed introduction to the large-scale activities carried out from the beginning of this year to the end of May.

CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov expressed gratitude to the Ministries of Interior and Justice, local executive authorities and other relevant institutions, which closely assisted in the clarification process.

At the meeting of the Commission, it was considered that the work on the preparation and finalization of the permanent voters list for 2024 has been completed, the list shall be sent to the relevant territorial election commissions for approval by the territorial and district election commissions, and the work will continue. Approval of the prepared voters list in the manner and time prescribed by the legislation will be carried out by the relevant regions entrusted with the election commissions by decision, the permanent voters list of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be prepared through the state automated information and published on the Commission’s website after taking into account the requirements of the Election Law.
