(CNS): Police are still actively searching for a wanted man in connection with a drug boat seized Thursday in Cayman Brac and say they now have reason to believe the man may be armed. The public is advised not to approach the fugitive, who is described as short, thin, with a dark complexion and short dreadlocks.

Anyone who sees this man or anyone acting suspiciously is asked to call 911 immediately.

The boat and drugs were found on a beach on the south side of Brac on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 22. One man was arrested shortly after, and a second man was arrested later that day. Local RCIPS, Customs and Border Control (CBC) and Department of Environment (DoE) officers are searching for the remaining fugitives. Initially, additional support was provided from Grand Cayman, including from the RCIPS Air Operations Unit and the Cayman Islands Coast Guard.

The RCIPS said it has a team of armed officers from Grand Cayman stationed on Brac.
