Citizen Bayardo Israel Ibarra López, 45, died Thursday evening from severe head injuries in a motorcycle accident at kilometer 9 of the new highway from Sandino to León.
Witnesses to the incident said Bayardo was driving a motorcycle with license plate M 25-233 and was allegedly drunk and speeding when he lost control and crashed into the boulevard, suffering serious head injuries.
The United Fire Fighters took Bayardo Ibarra to the Fernando Vélez Paiz Hospital and this morning due to the severity of his injuries they transferred him to the Lenin Fonseca Hospital but he surrendered shortly afterwards.
Bayardo Israel Ibarra López lives in the Andrés Castro neighborhood in Managua’s Third District.
