The Ministry of Information will work with the Ministry of Commerce to broadcast news and events through media tools such as the Cambodia News Agency (AKP), Cambodia National Television (TVK), Cambodia National Radio (TVK) and mobile application (APP MoINFO).
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on July 8 by Information and Communications Minister Neth Pheaktra and Commerce Minister Cham Nimul.
In their remarks, the two ministers welcomed the MoU, which aims to boost public confidence in state institutions and combat fake news.
Under the MOU, the public will be fully informed and actively involved in the activities, mission and achievements of the Department of Commerce.
In addition, Neth Pheaktra and Cham Nimul reiterated their commitment to managing public opinion by providing true and fast information to ensure social stability.
