Weston-Webb will have to surpass leaders Defay and Bryan by 3,495 points, so will have to finish at least eighth in Fiji (4,745 points) and hope his opponent doesn’t qualify from the first round (1,045 points).
Otherwise, if their opponents advance, they will have to surpass their nearest rivals by nearly 4,000 points to secure one of the five finals tickets and keep DeFeo and Bryan on the road.
