Dam Press:
German club Borussia Dortmund revealed that its annual revenue reached 509.1 million euros last season, a record high.
According to a statement on the club’s official website, this amount is an increase of 24% from last season without taking into account the sale of players.
Despite a disappointing fifth-place finish in the Bundesliga, Dortmund’s run to the Champions League final, where they lost 2-0 to Spain’s Real Madrid, was the main reason for the club’s record revenues, with growth in television revenues and merchandise sales also contributing to the growth.
