Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced the appointment of Diana Castrillon as Vice President of Human Resources. Casrillon has extensive experience at MGM Resorts International, where she most recently served as Executive Director of Employee Relations Operations, overseeing employee relations for more than 62,000 associates at 11 Las Vegas properties and eight regional properties.

“Diana is a strategic thinker, visionary and hospitality and gaming industry leader,” said Niklas Rytterstrom, Borgata President and COO. “She is committed to supporting and developing our talented workforce in innovative ways, further solidifying Borgata’s position as an employer of choice for top talent.”

Prior to joining Borgata, Casrillon held key positions at MGM Resorts International where she was responsible for standardizing employee relations processes, developing senior management metrics and creating comprehensive training programs. As the former Director of Employee Relations Operations, she centralized employee relations, improved ADA processes and enhanced training programs.

In her new role, Castrillon will lead the hotel’s human resources efforts, leveraging her expertise in talent acquisition, retention, culture building and community engagement. She will focus on improving employee engagement and customer service, lead talent acquisition and retention strategies, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive initiatives to improve workplace culture and strengthen community relations.

“Since joining MGM Resorts in 2013, I’ve had an amazing journey working with some of the most talented professionals in the industry,” said Castrillon. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities and growth I received there, and I’m excited to bring my experience to Borgata, a true leader in the gaming and hospitality industries. The team at Borgata is exceptional, and I’m eager to join their work in Atlantic City and actively contribute to the growth and development of the community.”
