Bomb blast in Kabul kills 1, injures 11

A bomb hidden in a minibus exploded in Kabul on Sunday, killing at least one person and injuring 11 others, police in the Afghan capital said.
Police spokesman Khalid Zadran said security forces were currently investigating the blast site in Kabul’s Dasht al-Barshi neighborhood.
No party immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.
It is worth noting that the frequency of attacks in Afghanistan has dropped significantly since the Taliban returned to power in August 2021.
However, affiliates of the Islamic State terror group remain active in the war-torn country.
